ML still and always relies on data quality and quantity. That could be considered one of the biggest challenges from which arises a need for robustness and generalization. Furthermore, training sophisticated ML models requires significant computational resources, which can be expensive and environmentally taxing. Thus, improving the efficiency of model training and inference is an ongoing area of research. Finally, ensuring the interpretability and explainability of ML models is really crucial, especially in domains like healthcare or finance, where decisions impact lives. The breakthroughs am expecting in the future are related to the explainable AI area, the self-supervised learning, and the quantum ML
